What is motion design

We owe the birth of motion design to John Whitney, a pioneer in computer graphics. It was his experiments in the middle of the last century that led to the creation of the first animated films. Although they were anything but entertaining, satisfied viewers were soon able to watch the painted images moving in theaters. Whitney himself became interested in IBM, where he was able to implement his innovative ideas and have a strong impact on computer production and motion design in its modern form.

What is motion design and who are motion designers?

There is no universal definition, although the term itself (not to be confused with moushen design) became widely used in the early 2000s, but in fact appeared 10-15 years earlier.
